1. Provider Identification

USHANOV is a registered trademark (IMPI, registration no. 2688708, class 41) owned by Murat Ushanov, an individual with business activity, based in Mexico City, Mexico (hereinafter "the Provider"). Under this brand operates the Vaganova Ballet Courses project, which includes classical ballet courses and intensives (Vaganova Summer Intensive), the sale of books and printed materials (the «Danza clásica» Program) and the other programs published on ushanov.com.

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of ushanov.com and the purchase of the following products and services:

• In-person classical ballet courses and intensives, in particular the Vaganova Summer Intensive (Part A)
• Books and printed materials sold through the site (Part B)
• Waitlists and contact forms (Part C)

The specific conditions of each edition or product (dates, venue, ages, price, cancellation deadlines with concrete dates) are published on the corresponding page of the site and form an integral part of these Terms. In case of discrepancy, the specific conditions of the edition or product prevail.

3. Service Description

The Vaganova Summer Intensive (hereinafter "the Course") is an intensive classical ballet training course with Vaganova methodology, taught by professors of the Vaganova Ballet Academy of Saint Petersburg, Russia, with translation into Spanish and English. The dates, duration, venue, age groups and program of each edition are published on the corresponding edition page.

4. Audition and Admission

Participation in the Course requires passing a mandatory audition. The online audition is free and consists of submitting a video with the exercises required for the participant's age group. The audition result (acceptance or non-acceptance) is a final and unappealable decision of the teaching staff. Audition approval does not guarantee a spot in the Course until the corresponding payment is made.

5. Cost and Payment Methods

The cost of the Course is published in Mexican pesos (MXN) on the corresponding edition page; any equivalence in US dollars is approximate and for information only. The cost includes all classes of the program and a certificate of participation, unless the edition page states otherwise.

Accepted payment methods:

• Bank transfer (no commission)
• Cash payment
• Online card payment via Stripe

Payment is made in a single payment. The spot in the Course is confirmed only upon payment.

6. Course Cancellation and Refund Policy

Deadlines are counted from the published start date of the Course for that edition. The concrete dates of each deadline are published on the edition page.

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to vaganovaballetcourses@gmail.com. The date of the request will determine the refund amount.

7. Liability and Release

Classical dance involves inherent risks of injury. The participant (or their parent/legal guardian in the case of minors) acknowledges these risks and declares to be in adequate physical condition to participate. The Provider, Murat Ushanov, the teaching staff and the venue are released from all liability for injuries, accidents or physical damage occurring during the Course. The participant must report in writing any pre-existing medical conditions before the Course begins.

8. Image Rights

By enrolling in the Course, the participant authorizes the Provider to capture photographs and videos during the classes and activities of the intensive, and their publication for promotional, educational and outreach purposes on social media, website and any other medium, without right to any compensation. In the case of minors, this authorization must be given by the parent or legal guardian.

9. Code of Conduct and Dress Code

Participants agree to follow the teaching staff's instructions and venue rules. The usual dress code is as follows (the edition page may specify it further):

• Women: leotard, skirt, tights, soft ballet slippers, pointe shoes, character shoes, white tutu, character skirt and fan
• Men: fitted shirt, tights, soft ballet slippers and character shoes

Repeated failure to comply with the code of conduct may result in the participant's expulsion without the right to a refund.

10. Book Purchases

The Provider sells through the site limited-edition books and printed materials, in particular the authorized Spanish translation of the «Classical Dance» discipline program of the Vaganova Ballet Academy, published under license from the Academy. The characteristics, price and availability of each book are published on its page on the site.

• Prices are expressed in Mexican pesos (MXN); any equivalence in US dollars is approximate and for information only.
• Shipping cost is calculated in the purchase form according to destination, number of copies and available carrier, and is shown before payment.
• Payment is made by card via Stripe, in a single payment, for the total of book(s) plus shipping. The order is confirmed only upon payment.
• The number of copies per order may be limited by print-run availability. If the print run sells out before payment is confirmed, the order is not processed and no charge is made.

11. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipments are made through third-party carriers (in Mexico, Estafeta; to other countries, DHL, FedEx or UPS, depending on availability) contracted through the Envia.com platform. After payment, the shipping label is generated and the buyer receives the tracking number by email.
• Delivery times are estimates: 1 to 5 business days within Mexico and, for international shipments, those indicated by the carrier, plus customs clearance time. The Provider does not control carrier or customs times.
• The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address and a contact phone number. Costs arising from an incorrect address, absence of the recipient or refusal of the package are borne by the buyer.
• For international shipments, taxes, duties and import charges set by the destination country are borne by the buyer. Some carriers require the recipient's tax identification number; without it, the shipment cannot be generated.
• If the carrier confirms loss of the package, the Provider will send a new copy at no cost or, if none is available, refund the amount paid.

12. Book Cancellations and Returns

• The shipping label is generated automatically upon payment confirmation; from that moment the order cannot be cancelled.
• As this is a limited-edition print run, returns due to change of mind are not accepted.
• If the copy arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, the buyer must notify in writing within 5 business days of delivery, attaching photographs. Once the damage is verified, the Provider will send a replacement copy at no cost or, if none is available, refund the amount paid.
• Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the purchase. Nothing above limits the rights granted to the buyer by the Federal Consumer Protection Law.

13. Intellectual Property

The content of the books is protected by copyright law. The purchase of a copy grants only the right to its personal or teaching use within the purchased copy. Its reproduction, digitization, distribution, publication on the internet or public communication, in whole or in part, without written authorization, is prohibited. The trademarks and logo of the Vaganova Ballet Academy are used under license from the Academy; the USHANOV trademark is owned by Murat Ushanov. All content of ushanov.com (texts, photographs, videos, design) is the property of the Provider or its licensors.

14. Waitlists

Joining a waitlist (for a Course edition or a new edition of a book) is free and does not constitute a purchase, a reservation of a spot or a guarantee of availability. By joining, the person agrees to be contacted by email or WhatsApp when the corresponding registration or sale opens. They may request removal from the list at any time by writing to the Provider.

15. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the current legislation of the United Mexican States, including the Federal Consumer Protection Law and the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City and the conciliation procedures of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO).

16. Changes to these Terms

The Provider may update these Terms at any time. The current version is the one published on this page with its update date. The version in force at the time of each purchase or registration applies to it.
