The first edition was held successfully in Mexico City, with a closing gala in a theater.
Day one
How it began
Early in the morning, students from all over Mexico, Colombia and the USA arrived at the venue to check in: they received their badge with their name and the official T-shirt of the intensive. Then began the presentation ceremony of the Vaganova Ballet Academy teachers — the start of two weeks of intense work.

Teachers
Course Teachers
Teachers from the Vaganova Ballet Academy, Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Trained at the Vaganova Ballet Academy under the legendary N. M. Dudinskaya. Graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy as a ballet master-coach and completed postgraduate studies at the same institution. Principal dancer at the academic theaters of Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Baku. Has trained numerous award-winning students at the most prestigious international competitions, who now work at the Bolshoi Theatre, the Mariinsky Theatre and the Boris Eifman Ballet. Has given masterclasses in Italy, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Sri Lanka.

Graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy, class of Professor N. M. Dudinskaya, with a higher education diploma as a ballet teacher. Gold medal at the International Competition "Arabesque" and in Kazan. Soloist at the Mariinsky Theatre, the Mikhailovsky Theatre and the Semper Opera in Dresden (Germany), performing Odette-Odile, Kitri, Giselle, Aurora and other principal roles. Master-coach at the Mariinsky Theatre and the Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre. Currently a teacher at the Vaganova Ballet Academy.

Graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in 1975. Soloist at the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. Associate Professor of the Character Dance Teaching Methodology Department at the Vaganova Ballet Academy since 2000. Has taught master classes in Japan, Finland, Italy, South Korea and Singapore, and staged classical productions (The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, La Bayadère). Choreographed character dances for Tamara Rojo's Raymonda at the English National Ballet (2021), Finnish National Opera (2022) and San Francisco Ballet (2025). Winner of the Sakharova Pedagogical Mastery Competition (Perm, 2023); commended by the Russian Ministry of Culture in 2024.
